Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network forecasted a pair of major trades in his newest mock for the 2024 NFL draft.
Jeremiah had the Minnesota Vikings moving up to the No. 4 overall pick in order to take Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy. The New York Jets also traded up to No. 5 so they could select Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
It may not be a matter of if the Vikings get a QB in the 2024 draft but rather how aggressive they are in doing so. Minnesota lost starter Kirk Cousins to free agency and signing Sam Darnold is all the front office has done so far to replace him.
