NFL Week 1 - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott exited Sunday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fourth quarter after hitting his hand multiple times. According to Cowboys medical staff, Prescott suffered a clean break in his hand, one that will require surgery to fix.
Per USA Today's Jori Epstein, Prescott will be out "several weeks" with the thumb injury.
“Yeah, it’s very disappointing, but injuries happen,” said Prescott during his postgame press conference. “Can’t necessarily control it. Just unfortunate. I’m obviously going to miss some time, not be there for my team.
