The Miami Dolphins have paid Tua Tagovailoa.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Tagovailoa is signing a four-year, $212.4 million extension after an offseason of waiting.

The deal comes as Dallas Cowboys franchise quarterback Dak Prescott remains without an extension. Prescott, an MVP candidate in 2023, has just one year remaining on his contract and will be a free agent after the season, meaning the pressure is on for the Cowboys.

After Tagovailoa inked his extension, NFL fans trolled Dallas for waiting so long to extend Prescott, as his value is likely going up with each quarterback's new deal.
