If you were ever deemed worthy of a first-round pick — even if wrongly so — you’re going to get more chances than other players will.
That’s playing out yet again in Dallas.
According to Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Cowboys are signing wide receiver A.J. Jenkins, after his tryout with the team last week.
The 49ers took Jenkins 30th overall in 2012, and quickly realized he couldn’t play, and was only active for three games his rookie year.
He was then traded to the Chiefs the following year for Jon Baldwin, the teams swapping mistakes hoping the change of scenery would work out.
