The Dallas Cowboys' brilliant start to the 2023 NFL season hit its first bit of adversity Thursday, as star cornerback Trevon Diggs left practice early with an injury and was later seen on crutches, according to the Dallas Morning News' Michael Gehlken.
Diggs, 25, is currently being evaluated to determine the extent of the injury.
One of the best ballhawks in the NFL, Diggs—a two-time Pro Bowler—is a central figure in a Dallas defense that has been the league's best through the first two weeks of the season. He has four tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in the Cowboys' two wins.
