Amid rumors that the Dallas Cowboys will release wide receiver Michael Gallup, the team has permitted him to begin seeking a trade, per the Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins.
While Gallup could potentially land with a new team in a trade, teams expect the Cowboys to release him, Watkins noted, which could make finding a potential suitor more difficult given he could be on the market in a few weeks.
Gallup, who had 1,000+ receiving yards in 2019, failed to amass more than 500 receiving yards in the past three seasons. He had a career-low 418 yards and two touchdowns in 2023.
