The Dallas Cowboys have exercised Micah Parsons' $21.3 million option for the 2025 season, according to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.
Gehlken noted Parsons' salary is being paid out as a defensive end since that is the position he played a majority of his snaps at in 2023.
The Cowboys exercising Parsons' fifth-year option was a no-brainer as it guarantees he'll remain in Dallas for at least the next two seasons.
Parsons agreed to a four-year, $17 million deal with the Cowboys as a rookie after being selected by the franchise 12th overall in the 2021 draft and he's due for a massive extension in short order.
