Court denies Ezekiel Elliott injunction, six-game ban restored for Dallas Cowboys star RB

Judge Katherine Polk Failla denied Cowboys star RB Ezekiel Elliott's motion for a preliminary injunction Monday night and Elliott's six-game personal conduct suspension has been restored.

Elliott was allowed to play the past two weeks after receiving a temporary restraining order Oct. 17 from Judge Amos Mazzant, who called an NFL arbitrator's denial of Elliott's appeal in September "fundamentally unfair."

But Polk ultimately ruled that Elliott will not suffer irreparable harm by serving the six-game ban, originally handed down in August by the NFL following its 13-month independent investigation into the Cowboys back for domestic violence allegations by then-girlfriend Tiffany Thompson in July 2016.
