The Colts have made a change to their offensive line before the start of training camp.
The team announced Sunday that they have released veteran tackle Gosder Cherilus. Cherilus ended last season on injured reserve after dealing with groin and shoulder injuries and then had a knee scope in the offseason that kept him out of the team’s offseason work, but the team had talked about having him back for camp before Sunday’s decision to move in the other direction.
Cherilus had started all 29 games he played for Indianapolis after leaving the Lions and joining the team as a free agent before the 2013 season.
