Colts hoping to avoid revolving door on offensive line

Through injury, ineffectiveness and experiment, the Colts had 15 different starting line combinations last season, the most in the league, and still won 11 games.

So, it’s fair to wonder if Andrew Luck might be even better with the same guys in front of him every week, or even close to it.

Finding out is the goal.

Two weeks into camp and two days from the preseason opener, the Colts have stuck with one starting lineup combination and hope Khaled Holmes will stick at center, 10-year veteran Todd Herremans will upgrade the guard spot and Jack Mewhort can play one position, right tackle, after spending much of his rookie year on the move.
