The Jaguars finally got Chris Clemons to training camp, but he still isn’t doing anything.
So that makes it unlikely that when they open the preseason in eight days that the veteran pass-rusher will be among them.
“I would doubt he would play in the opener,” Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said, via Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union. “I wouldn’t count on that.”
Clemons didn’t show up until the first day of training camp after sitting out the voluntary portion of the offseason work. They cited personal reasons as the cause of his not reporting with the rest of his teammates, and that’s apparently still the case.
