The Jaguars had to wait a while, but defensive end Chris Clemons has finally joined them on the practice field at training camp.
Clemons practiced for the first time this summer on Monday and worked in individual drills as the first step in the process of getting him ready to play in the season opener next month. Clemons said he’ll lean on his 11 years of experience in the NFL after missing voluntary work this offseason in addition to the first two-plus weeks of camp.
“That’s the plan to get re-acclimated to everything and getting back into football,” Clemons said, via the Florida Times-Union.
