Chip Kelly denies his interest in Oregon head coaching vacancy

49ers coach Chip Kelly has constantly denied interest in returning to the college ranks this season, and despite the recent vacancy at his last college stop, Oregon, it has not changed his stance.

Kelly again denied any interest in leaving the Bay Area in the wake of Oregon firing Mark Helfrich Tuesday night after a 37-16 record over four seasons. Helfrich was promoted from offensive coordinator in 2013 when Kelly left to become the head coach of the Eagles.

When asked if he planned to stay with the 49ers, Kelly responded via ESPN, "Yep, so we're all done with that, I hope.
