The Chiefs offered a weekend tryout to a guy with name recognition.
Of course, the recognizable name is his dad’s.
Via Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star, the Chiefs brought in Kentucky tight end Steve Borden Jr. for a tryout. If you missed his four catches for 33 years as a senior, perhaps you nitched that Steve Borden Sr. is better known by his wrestling name “Sting.”
“People usually ask me does that bother you, does that upset you? It’s never bothered me,” Borden Jr. said. “It’s actually been one of those things that has pushed me my entire life.
