A veteran Kansas City Chiefs staffer praised quarterback Patrick Mahomes' ability to say "all the right things" in public and avoid causing any locker room friction, citing seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady's ability to do the same.
"Pat's similar to [Tom] Brady in that way," the staffer told Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. "He's just got a knack for saying all the right things, and things that never cause any division in the locker room."
The staffer made those remarks amid Mahomes' comments in response to teammate and kicker Harrison Butker's controversial commencement speech to Benedictine College.
