NFL Offseason - The Kansas City Chiefs have promoted quarterbacks coach Matt Nagy to their offensive coordinator position, according to an announcement from the team's Twitter account.
Nagy first joined the Chiefs as a quarterbacks coach in 2013, promoted to offensive coordinator in 2016. He left Kansas City in 2018 to accept the Chicago Bears head coaching role and re-joined the Chiefs after his dismissal in 2021.
Nagy led the Chiefs to a 13th-best 3.1% offensive DVOA in 2016 and ascended to a fourth-best 16.4% offensive DVOA the following year. That 2017 season kicked off six consecutive years of top-five offensive DVOA finishes for Kansas City.
