The Kansas City Chiefs received some positive news regarding the dislocation of the sternoclavicular shoulder joint wide receiver Marquise Brown suffered during Saturday's preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"They were able to get the joint back into place without surgery, which is a positive,'' head coach Andy Reid said Monday, per ESPN's Adam Teicher. "Then we'll just see on the recovery. He is back in Kansas City now. He stayed over in Jacksonville until they got that thing situated.''

Reid was noncommittal about whether Brown, who was hospitalized with the injury, would be available for the Sept.
