The Kansas City Chiefs selected lineman Kahlil McKenzie, the son of Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie, in the sixth round on Sunday.
And it didn't take long for the younger McKenzie to start up the trash talk.
"I can't wait to whip up on you twice this year and the next year and the next year and the next year after that," Kahlil said he told his father, per Adam Teicher of ESPN.com. "We're a competitive family [by] nature. We compete in everything we do. This just adds one more ripple into that.
