LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Bears trimmed their roster to 75 players Tuesday, starting by placing two players on injured reserve — center Hroniss Grasu and quarterback Connor Shaw.
Grasu tore his ACL at practice on Aug. 6. Shaw broke his leg in Saturday’s preseason game against the Chiefs.
Rookie outside linebacker Roy Robertson-Harris was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list. He missed much of camp with an illness and was out of practice Tuesday with an illness as well. The former UTEP edge rusher had a tackle for loss and QB hit on Saturday.
Former Notre Dame linebacker Jarrett Grace was waived and veteran linebacker Lamin Barrow was waived/injured.
