Chicago Bears Notes: John Fox says Jay Cutler's injury is not season-ending

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — John Fox’s favorite injury designation, “day-to-day,” has now been put on Jay Cutler, as the Bears head coach refuted reports that Cutler suffered a season-ending labrum tear.

Fox said he does not know exactly when Cutler suffered the injury to his throwing shoulder, and he wouldn’t rule him out for Sunday’s game against the Titans, though the Bears did bring back David Fales, a sign that Cutler will not be available for this game.

“You know in my experience with Jay, he’s a tough son of a gun so he doesn’t go typical of the lengths people put into it as far as weeks and what not,” Fox said.
