GREEN BAY, Wis. – As debuts go, this one was pretty impressive.
New head coach Matt Nagy’s offense looked nothing like Bears offenses of recent years in an impressive season opener Sunday night, despite the Bears losing 24-23 to the Packers. In other words, the offense was innovative, productive, interesting and exciting; all aspects that have gone missing in recent Bears attacks.
And new Bears OLB Kahlil Mack may turn out to be the bargain of the century, even at $141 million over the course of his six-year extension.
