The returnees include defensive backs coach Ed Donatell, assistant defensive backs coach Roy Anderson, linebackers coach Glenn Pires, outside linebackers coach Brandon Staley, defensive line coach Jay Rodgers and defensive quality control coachSean Desai. Bill Shuey has been added as an additional defensive quality control coach.
In addition, Brad Childress was confirmed as the Bears’ senior offensive consultant. Childress shared the offensive coordinator role with Nagy in 2016 in Kansas City and was on the Chiefs’ staff last year.
All the other offensive coaching assistants and special teams coaches were announced in January.
