The Los Angeles Chargers will look to bolster quarterback Justin Herbert with a great run game next season, offensive coordinator Greg Roman said.
Per ESPN's Kris Rhim, Roman is looking for more consistency from the run game in 2024, and he believes it will lead to better production from Herbert.
"Can you imagine Justin Herbert with a great running game?" Roman said. "... We don't know, but I can imagine what it might look like. So that's kind of the vision."
The Chargers run game struggled last year as the team went 5-12. Los Angeles finished 24th in yards per rushing yards and 26th in yards per carry.
