A pair of AFC West rivals will reportedly square off on Christmas Eve.
The Raiders will host the Chargers on Thursday, December 24, Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
This seems a sensible scheduling decision by the NFL. The game pits two California clubs playing in the Pacific Time Zone, and San Diego personnel should be back to enjoy the holiday in relatively short order.
Chargers-Raiders will be played in Week 16, which makes it the last Thursday night game of the season.
