Like many other quarterbacks, Cardinals signal caller Carson Palmer is hosting workouts with his teammates this month while waiting for the start of training camp.
Unlike some of the others, Palmer is also playing landlord. Wide receiver John Brown is living with Palmer in Southern California and they’ve been joined by several teammates at workouts that Palmer says are “refreshers” to keep everyone sharp mentally heading into camp.
Palmer’s able to concentrate on that area because he’s feeling physically sharp after rehabbing the torn ACL that ended his 2014 season. Palmer declared himself 100 percent in June, took part in 11-on-11 work at minicamp and says that the knee isn’t even on his mind a couple of weeks ahead of camp.
