Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Zay Jones was suspended by the NFL for five games due to a violation of the league's personal conduct policy, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that Jones' suspension stemmed from a misdemeanor domestic battery charge against the 29-year-old in March. The charge was dropped, although the NFL conducted its own investigation and returned a suspension for five games.
Jones signed a one-year contract worth up to $4.25 million with the Cardinals on May 10.
