Tight end Jermaine Gresham’s free-agency tour was derailed by a herniated disc that required surgery in March. Now healthy, Gresham has joined the Cardinals.
Arizona announced that Gresham has joined the Cardinals via a one-year deal signed on Friday.
Gresham visited the Cardinals earlier this week, and he was drawing interest from other teams, like the Packers. In Arizona, he helps fill the void created by the retirement of John Carlson — and by the presence of a pair of tight ends who do more blocking than pass catching.
