Despite Cameron Wake coming off a torn Achilles, it appears the Dolphins aren't afraid to keep their star defender a little longer in South Beach.
The team announced Saturday that Wake has been extended through the 2017 season.
"We are pleased that we were able to reach an extension with Cam," Executive Vice President of Football Operations Mike Tannenbaum said in a press release. "He sets the right example both on and off the field, working his way up from an undrafted college free agent to a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
