Cam Heyward's future with the Pittsburgh Steelers has been a focal point this offseason, but he doesn't want to play for another NFL team.
He took to social media Sunday to clarify that his "goal" is to remain with the team that selected him in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft:
The 35-year-old is entering the final season of his contract and just said on Friday he is at least considering playing elsewhere during the 2025 season as he and the Steelers cannot find a solution for his contract.
"I have talked to my wife, and we know the reality, and we have had those talks, and she said it could be fun to play somewhere else," Heyward said, per The Athletic's Mark Kaboly.
