The Lions play their regular season dress rehearsal on Friday night and coach Jim Caldwell said that some starters will play into the third quarter of the game while others will play the first half.
And one key player may not play at all. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson isn’t injured, but did not play in the first two preseason games due to Caldwell’s decision. On Wednesday, Caldwell indicated that the decision may not be any different for this week’s game either.
“I’m not quite certain if you’re going to see him at all,” Caldwell said, via the Detroit News.
