Former San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller pleaded not guilty Wednesday during a court appearance related to felony charges for an alleged attack on a 70-year-old man and his son.
Evan Sernoffsky of the San Francisco Chronicle reported the plea came during an arraignment hearing in San Francisco Superior Court. Miller is facing a total of seven felony counts, a misdemeanor count of battery and several elder abuse enhancements in the case.
The report noted Miller left court without talking to reporters after the hearing. He's currently free after previously posting $178,000 bail and is due back in court on Nov.
