NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported the Seahawks won't pick up Irvin's fifth-year option (h/t Pro Football Talk's Mike Wilkening).
Now Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio is hearing Seattle may trade Irvin to the Atlanta Falcons right around the 2015 NFL draft.
"Per a league source, chatter already has emerged regarding a possible trade that would send linebacker Bruce Irvin to the Falcons, reuniting him with coach Dan Quinn, the former defensive coordinator in Seattle," Florio wrote.
