The Browns added some experience to their linebacking corps on Monday.
The team announced that they have signed Moise Fokou to the roster. Wide receiver Rodney Smith has been waived to make room on the roster.
Fokou played in two games for the Saints last season after joining the team in November and has 73 games of experience since entering the league as a 2009 seventh-round pick by the Eagles. He played four seasons in Philly, spent 2012 with the Colts and then made a career-high 12 starts for Tennessee in 2013.
Karlos Dansby, Christian Kirksey, Craig Robertson and Tank Carder are the top inside linebackers currently on the Cleveland roster.
