The Cleveland Browns have added a dynamic defensive tackle to help solidify the center of their defense.
The Browns selected Washington nose tackle Danny Shelton with the No. 12 overall pick in the draft, the first of two scheduled first-round picks for Cleveland on Thursday night.
Shelton is a load in the defensive interior. Shelton amassed 93 total tackles with nine sacks during his final season at Washington. Shelton is best suited as a nose tackle in a 3-4 defense but has played in a 4-3 as well during his time with the Huskies.
