The Cleveland Browns announced on Monday that they have suspended offensive line coach Andy Moeller indefinitely, and a report says he is being investigated for an alleged assault.
According to ESPN’s Pat McManoman, a woman who was a guest of Moeller’s over the weekend called Berea police to report that she was assaulted. When police arrived, she was unsure if she wanted to press charges, but officers still took down a report of the incident. The city prosecutor will decide whether to charge Moeller with a crime. The incident was classified as an assault rather than a domestic assault simply because of the technicality that the woman, who is from Maryland, was not Moeller’s wife or live-in girlfriend.
