When Browns General Manager Ray Farmer serves his four-game suspension for illegal texting, they’ll at least have some experienced cover.
According to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland, the Browns have hired veteran personnel man Lake Dawson for an undisclosed position with the team.
Dawson was let go by the Titans this offseason, but has had numerous interviews for G.M. positions the last few years, most recently with the Bears. He spent 12 years with the Seahawks before moving to Tennessee for eight seasons.
He had previously interviewed with the Browns when Mike Holmgren was in charge.
