Cleveland Browns running back D'Onta Foreman was taken out of practice in an ambulance Thursday after sustaining a blow to his head that resulted in neck pain, the team said.

Foreman was immobilized on a backboard before being put on the ambulance and then transported via helicopter to a hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. The Browns are practicing at the Greenbrier in West Virginia.

Browns players took a knee at the end of practice, apparently to say a prayer for their teammate.

Foreman has movement in all his extremities, the team said.
