Browns bring in a pair of veterans not named Ray Rice

At a time when the football-following world is following among other things the question of whether the Browns will sign veteran running back Ray Rice, the Browns have added a pair of other veterans with recognizable — but not notorious — names.

The Browns have announced the signing of defensive end Everette Brown and cornerback Aaron Ross.

Brown was a second-round pick of the Panthers in 2009, who has bounced around the league and most recently played in Washington. Ross (pictured), a first-round pick of the Giants in 2007, owns a pair of Super Bowl rings and played for the Giants, Jaguars, and Ravens.
