Amari Cooper is not being shy about his goals for the 2024 NFL season.

The Cleveland Browns wide receiver has been absent from the team's minicamp and shed some light about the decision, stating it was because he is "trying to get paid this year" and that he doesn't want to "pull a hammy" or do something that could get in the way of that goal.

Cooper had 72 catches for 1,250 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games for the Cleveland Browns. This was his fifth selection to a Pro Bowl and he helped Cleveland to a 11-6 record and a trip to the postseason despite multiple quarterback injuries.
