John Bowlen, the son of Broncos owner Pat Bowlen and once considered a possible heir to the team, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence charges Monday.
According to Jesse Paul of the Denver Post, Bowlen’s trial is scheduled to begin Dec. 15.
The 29-year-old has worked in several capacities, but the team placed him on an indefinite leave of absence after the charges in June, setting from an incident with his girlfriend. He was charged with two misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault and harassment, after allegedly pushing the woman against a bathroom wall.
