While offseason workouts are still in the early stages, Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix has already impressed his head coach.
Sean Payton told reporters on Thursday that Nix is "farther along than most would be" in this situation and he's picking up the offense quickly.
Nix was selected with the 12th pick in the 2024 NFL draft last month. He has more experience than most rookie quarterbacks, as he was a five-year starter at the collegiate level. He spent the first three years of his career at Auburn before transferring to Oregon for the last two seasons.
