Josh Norman moving on to Washington will alter the outlook of the Panthers and the Redskins.
The Carolina Panthers made one of the most shocking moves of the off season when they rescinded Josh Norman’s franchise tag. A team has only made this move once in the past nine years (Seattle pulling back on Leroy Hill in 2009). What makes this particular situation with Norman unique is that the cornerback is one of the best players in the league at his position, while Hill was just your average NFL linebacker. This decision by the Panthers will have a long-lasting impact on their franchise and the same can be said for the team who ended up signing Norman, the Washington Redskins.
