It appears Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall's decision to kneel during the national anthem prior to Thursday's win over the Panthers may prove to be costly.
Marshall is the fourth known player at this point to be publicly protesting the national anthem by either sitting or kneeling, joining the Seahawks' Jeremy Lane, plus the 49ers' Eric Reid and Colin Kaepernick.
Per the Denver Post on Friday, the veteran linebacker lost his endorsement deal with Air Academy Federal Credit Union, after a post surfaced on the company's Facebook page Friday. President and chief executive officer Glenn Strebe wrote Marshall's actions were not a "representation" of the organization.
