Brandon Aiyuk caught 75 balls for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns in 2023 as the leading receiver for the 49ers, a team that won the NFC Championship before losing in overtime to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII.
Despite what was a banner year for the fourth-year wide receiver, it is not all sunny in San Francisco, where a contract dispute looms large over the team and its budding star.
Aiyuk told Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor on The Pivot podcast that he "for sure" wants to remain in a 49ers uniform but is "taking it personal" when it comes to contract negotiations.
