Brady post-hearing briefs due late next week

For anyone who thinks a ruling in the Tom Brady appeal hearing will come at 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday, July 3, think again.

By the time the bad news dump associated with the three-day Fourth of July weekend comes and goes, Commissioner Roger Goodell will still be very early in the process of considering what to do about Brady’s four-game suspension.

Via Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, post-hearing briefs in the Brady appeal are due late next week.

Article 46 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement generally prohibits post-hearing briefs, except when agreed to by the NFL and NFL Players Association or requested by the hearing officer.
