Brad Smith scheduled to visit Lions on Tuesday

The Lions are holding their final set of organized team activities this week and they may have designs on adding a veteran presence to their special teams units before this phase of the offseason comes to an end.

Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports that the team is expected to visit with wide receiver Brad Smith. Smith has played a variety of roles during his nine-year NFL career, but was almost exclusively a special teamer with the Eagles over the last two years.

Smith saw 81 offensive snaps for Philly over 19 games and caught three passes, but was a regular on the team’s kick coverage units.
