Bills head coach Rex Ryan has another defensive lineman to work with at minicamp this week.
The Bills announced Tuesday that they have signed veteran Andre Fluellen to their 90-man roster. Safety Deon Broomfield was waived/injured in a corresponding move.
Fluellen has spent most of the last seven years with the Lions with two 2012 games in Miami standing as the lone exception over his 77-game NFL career. Fluellen has only started six of those games and has 65 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble to show for his on-field work.
The Bills have plenty of pieces to work with on the defensive line with Fluellen joining Alex Carrington and Michael Buchannan as new arrivals to a group that is expected to be a strength for the team in 2015.
