ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- On-field officials pulled Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor from Thursday's 37-31 loss to the New York Jets after Taylor showed possible signs of a concussion following a third-quarter sack split by linebacker Darron Lee and defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson.
Taylor was evaluated by medical staff on the sideline before being cleared to re-enter the game three plays later.
Coach Rex Ryan said after the game that referee Ed Hochuli made the decision to remove Taylor from the contest. The quarterback appeared frustrated with the decision, throwing up his arms as medical staff walked him to the sideline.
