The Bills aren't a team in a position to turn down defensive help given their recent rash of injuries and suspensions, yet they are cutting ties with 32-year-old outside linebacker Manny Lawson on Friday, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
EPSN first reported the development.
Lawson was cut due to a looming suspension, per Rapoport. The Buffalo News originally reported that Lawson was facing a one-game suspension back in mid-August.
Rapoport noted that fullback Jerome Felton was also released, which means that Glenn Gronkowski, younger brother of Patriots tight end Rob, will likely make the final roster.
