Bills’ Aaron Kromer Placed on Leave During Attack Inquiry

The Buffalo Bills have put their offensive- line coach, Aaron Kromer, on indefinite paid leave two days after he was arrested on suspicion of punching and threatening a boy in Florida.

The decision allows the Bills and the N.F.L. to continue to investigate the incident, which occurred Saturday, according to a police report. Depending on the results of those investigations, Kromer could be suspended or fired. Under the league’s personal conduct policy, N.F.L. or team employees found to have committed violent acts face an automatic six-game suspension for a first offense.

“We have been in regular discussions with the league office and have decided to place Aaron on indefinite paid administrative leave in accordance with the league’s personal conduct policy while we continue to work our way through the investigative process with the league,” the Bills' president, Russ Brandon, said in a statement.
